  • 150 8mm tapes (2 hours each)
  • 100 miniDV tapes (1 hour each)
  • A 10 TB portable hard drive
  • 30 physical scrapbook albums
  • 40 shoeboxes full of printed 4x6 photos (about 900 photos each)

Over 400 hours of tape footage are still waiting to be digitized.

For many years, I have told people that if there were a fire at my home, I would throw all my photos and tapes out the window before leaving the house. Since then, I have come to greatly appreciate iCloud and my hard drive, but I have not digitized all of my physical photos and tapes yet. That scares me.

I do not want these memories to just sit in a corner somewhere. I want to share them with intention, so others can see the beauty I see in the people, children, and pets I love.
